About DLP Bank

Our Past

Bradford County's only true "community bank" opened its doors in 1957. Soon after opening, we approved our first loan of $10,000 to a local farmer, establishing ourselves as "the community's bank." Starting with a mere $59,000 in deposits, the bank grew to over $50 million in total assets by the mid-90s.

In 2001, Community State Bank opened a second branch in the town of Lake Butler in neighboring Union County. Since the Bank was chartered, our mission has been to serve the financial needs of the counties and surrounding areas in which we operate.

In 2023, DLP Bancshares acquired Community State Bank, with the hopes to expand their ability to support their local community, becoming the DLP Bank that we know today.

Over the years, DLP Bank has weathered real estate spirals, natural disasters, stock market crashes, and other economic challenges to become a premier financial operations center for Northeast Florida.
